Campus Club… Then

The WVU Campus Club was founded in 1912 by Mrs. R.P Davis, Mrs. J.N. Deahl, and Mrs. C.W. Waggoner. The original founders aspired to establish an organization for the wives of faculty members that promoted sociability and assisted in furthering the interests of the University. It was thought that by founding this new organization, a greater opportunity for individuals to connect within the collegial community could be created.

Campus Club… Now

Connections among members of the university community are just as vital today as they were nearly one hundred years ago. In realizing the potential to enhance both the University and the greater Morgantown community, membership is now extended to ALL interested individuals.

Campus Club hosts a variety of groups so that those with similar interests can connect with each other on a regular basis throughout the academic year. The organization also holds several all-member events during the academic year to help cultivate new and maintain existing friendships between individuals from across the University community.

Campus Club is a wonderful way to meet members of the extended university family. We hope that you will join with us in experiencing the vibrancy of life that can be found living in a collegial community.
